The Shipyard Loft CHP is located at Refshaleøen near Copenhagen Harbor with a spectacular view to the entrance of Copenhagen harbour, the central Copenhagen, The Little Mermaid, The Queens Palace and Sweden.

Refshaleøen is the former home of the world famous Burmeister & Wain shipyard from 1872 to 1996. The shipyard loft was originally used for construction and storage of templates used for building ships.

Today, the Shipyard Loft CPH consists of 17 studios used by a various number of architects, artists, designers, reporters etc.

International companies such as B&O, Novozymes, Montana, Philips, ELLE, ONLY, Vero Moda frequently use the loft for conferences, workshops, commercials, and photo sessions for clothing and lifestyle magazines. The Shipyard Loft CPH wants to show the way by creating a place where a mixture of commercial, artistic and innovative forces can meet and interact, and thereby influence the development of Copenhagen.

Opportunities and future use
In cooperation with the Shipyard Loft CPH, the loft can be used to show and experience an innovative way of working. Thereby pointing out the contemporary development of Danish culture, innovation and society.
